Peaceful, Productive Pastor Parish Partnerships (P5)

This new workshop designed by Associate Director, Ruth Farrell, brings to attention the needs of post-pandemic churches and pastors. This fresh take at understanding the new world around us will encourage attendees to engage with their communities in a peaceful and productive way.

Highlights and insights of this training:

  • Short-term pastorates are hard on pastors and churches. Healthier pastor/congregation relationships foster longer pastorates.
  •  What are best practices to foster longer, more peaceful and productive pastor parish partnerships?
  • Current research on the state of churches and pastors
  • The importance of looking at the big picture of how the church is working together not getting lost in the weeds of ministry
  • Updated best practices for evaluating a church's life and ministries (including pastoral ministries)
  • Updated best practices for pastor parish committees

Workshop details:

  • Length: 3.5 hours
  • Cost: $50 per person
  • Locations: Online or local to Lombard, IL
