The Lombard Mennonite Peace Center (LMPC) is actively looking for our next Executive
Director. The LMPC Executive Director provides overall leadership and management for the
peacemaking ministry of the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center. The ministry has included
conducting a variety of workshops for individual church leaders and congregations on conflict transformation skills training and church leadership from a family systems perspective, in addition to addressing the full-range of Christian peace and justice issues. It has become nationally known for its major training events, like the Mediation Skills Training Institute for Church Leaders and the Clergy Clinic in Family Emotional Process. Additionally, the ministry has provided on-site consultation for congregations and church leadership experiencing conflict.

The LMPC Executive Director provides visionary and strategic leadership for the peace center
and is responsible for the implementation of programs that carry out LMPC’s mission. The
Executive Director is principally responsible for the day-to-day administration and oversight of operations and personnel within LMPC, as well as fiscal oversight including developing and maintaining funding resources. The Executive Director reports directly to the LMPC Board of Directors.
