Advanced Clergy Clinic 2021-2022Lombard, IL (Chicago area).  The dates for next year will be Oct. 18-20, 2021; Feb. 7-9, 2022; and April 25-27, 2022.  Participants are expected to attend all nine days of training.  We plan to offer ACC as a hybrid event, meaning that attendees may choose between in-person and online attendance.  Please call our office at 630-627-0507 if you wish to register (online registration will be available soon).

Clergy Clinic 2021-2022, Group A and Group B: Lombard, IL (Chicago area).  Registration for this event is now open.  The dates for next year for Group A will be October 25-27, 2021; February 14-16, 2022; and May 2-4, 2022.  The dates for Group B will be November 8-10, 2021; March 7-9, 2022; and May 23-25, 2022.  The content for each group is the same – only the dates are different.  Participants are expected to attend all nine days of training.  The entire series will be conducted remotely via Zoom.

Conflict Transformation Skills for ChurchesSessions covered during this one-day workshop include “Finding Renewal in Conflict” and “How to be Effective When People Are Angry,” among others.  Identical sessions will be offered on Saturday, January 16; Saturday, February 13; Monday, March 22; Saturday, April 10; and Wednesday, November 3, 2021.  Here is a Sample Schedule for the day. Healthy Congregations:  This one-day workshop helps church leaders prevent or minimize the destructive conflict that can result from anxiety within their congregation.  Identical sessions will be offered on Saturday, January 30; Thursday, February 18; Saturday, March 27; Saturday, April 17; and Thursday, December 2, 2021.  Here is a Sample Schedule for the day. This workshop is especially effective when multiple members of the same congregation attend together; thus, we offer a significant discount to groups of at least four ($15 per person).  For details please contact our office at 630-627-0507 or Admin@LMPeaceCenter.org.

Leadership and Anxiety in the Church:  This one-day workshop examines the challenges presented by the rising levels of anxiety being experienced in churches today, as well as the role that self-differentiated leadership can play in calming such anxiety.  Identical sessions will be offered on Thursday, May 13; Wednesday, June 9; Thursday, August 19; Wednesday, September 29; and Thursday, November 4.  Groups with at least four registrants will receive a discount of $15 per person (restrictions apply).  For details please call our office at 630-627-0507 or email us at  Admin@LMPeaceCenter.org.

Mediation Skills Training InstituteThere are five sessions of this 5-day workshop available this year:  May 3-7; June 21-25; August 2-6; October 11-15; and November 15-19, 2021.  All events will be conducted remotely via Zoom; in addition, there will be a limited number of openings for in-person attendance at the MSTI in August.  We are still trying to secure a host site for the August MSTI; please contact our office for the latest updates with regard to format and location.

A Peacemaker’s Pilgrimage to the Holy Land:  The trip that was originally scheduled for January 13-26, 2021 has been postponed until January of 2022.  Visit ancient sacred sites and contemporary peacemaking ministries in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Galilee.  When our plans become more definite, we will share the details with you here.  You might want to join our mailing list to be sure you get any updates as soon as they become available.
