The Lombard Mennonite Peace Center is searching for committed peacemakers
to fill the following positions:
LMPC Assistant Director
The role of the LMPC Assistant Director is to assist the LMPC Executive
Director in all aspects of the peace center ministry, with a special
emphasis on serving in LMPC's conciliation ministry. Thus, the position
would include presenting educational programs on the whole range
of Christian peace and justice issues in churches of all denominations,
schools, and other settings, while also assisting in communications,
seminar logistics, marketing, fundraising, administration, etc.
However, the primary focus of the position is on conflict transformation
skills training and mediating congregational conflicts.
LMPC Assistant for Communications
The role of the
LMPC Assistant For Communications is to work closely with the LMPC
Executive Director to implement the vision for promoting LMPC programs
among churches of all denominations. Responsibilities include: provide
leadership for coordinating communications, seminar logistics, and
marketing of LMPC programs, while also assisting in fundraising,
web site maintenance, general office tasks, etc. The position requires
excellent writing, organizational and computer skills.
